We have noticed that so many of the testimonials speak to the quality of HAKA cabinets which is very true, however, we would like to like to go beyond that and speak to the manner in which Pamela and Lauri approach their business.
We spoke to Pamela over the phone after reading all the information on their website, which by the way is very informative and during our brief conversation were left with the impression that this a company that we would definitely like to check out. We took the drive from London to Mississauga to their showroom thinking that we would spend perhaps a half hour looking at cabinets. Not so, it was probably one and a half to two hours before we left the showroom.
Time spent looking at the cabinets wasn't that long as we could see their cabinets met and exceeded our expectations. After deciding on the style of cabinet and options we spent the remainder of our time getting to know the people who made such superior furniture. We must add that we had looked at several sewing cabinet manufacturers products before visiting HAKA and our opinion is that they have no rivals.
Pamela and Lauri made the visit such a pleasant and personable experience. They shared with us many stories and it was quite evident that they take great pride in their business. I spent some time speaking to Lauri and one realizes immediately that he is a man who demands quality workmanship of himself and Pamela compliments the business with her ability to listen to her customers and give timely advice of which my wife was so appreciative.
When we left the showroom we had the feeling of total customer satisfaction and had no doubt about their commitment to quality.
So now they have our order but it doesn't end there. Pamela keeps in contact with you during the manufacturing of your cabinet and Lauri is always available to address any questions you may have.
How refreshing to deal with people who adhere to sound business principles and yet take a personable down-home approach to make their customers feel comfortable, with assurance that you have made a good investment in HAKA sewing cabinets.

“The Archives of Ontario is moving to a new facility in the spring of 2009 and before we move, we have a lot of prep work to do. One of the jobs we had to do was to go through approximately 8000 folders containing architectural drawings, documentary art, maps, posters, photographs and other items. Unlike your other customers who use your table for quilting and sewing, we were looking for a table that would help with looking at oversize paper documents in a small space. We needed something that was 36" high and portable and able to work anywhere we needed it (including fitting in an elevator). And that's what we have with your table!
Your table is the perfect addition to our collection of equipment to help with transporting and viewing records. It has been the biggest back saver and has easily accommodated our larger records. I have told other staff in the collection of our tables, in hoping that they can use them when they need a large workspace, which is more often than one would think, and they are equally as excited to use them.
I have included two photographs of the tables in their new home (click here to see the photos). One photograph is with the table extended surrounded by a few of our map cabinets, and the other is of the closed table in between two ranges of records. It fits perfectly, even if we need a small workspace.
I bet you never imagined that your tables would be helping Ontario's history!
