Shipping quotation
1 - Contact HAKA for sewing furniture prices.
2 - Determine which HAKA sewing furniture you
are interested in ordering.
3 - Then, once you know the prices and have determined what you are interested in ordering, contact HAKA for a shipping quotation.
Shipping costs are based on a combination of size, weight,
destination and value. We will need to know which product(s) you are interested in ordering, as well
as the name of your city/town, province/state and your postal/zip
code.
4 - We will obtain a shipping quotation from our transportation
company for you. We do our best to get back to you with your shipping quotation quickly - the same day, if possible. However, sometimes there may be an unavoidable delay when we have to wait to hear back from the transportation company.
HAKA's shipping basics
• You will receive your HAKA Sewing Furniture fully assembled - it's completely "turnkey" - even the casters are already attached.
• LOCAL ORDERS are delivered by HAKA. You are also welcome to pick
up your sewing furniture when it is ready - for a map and driving directions, click here: Contact HAKA.
• LONG DISTANCE ORDERS are shipped
in a wooden crate with a transportation company.
Your long distance order will be carefully crated - (we receive compliments on the quality of our crates too!).
FYI: HAKA's oriented strand board crate panels do not contain added urea-formaldehyde resins. |

HAKA's Ordering basics
• Once
you have your shipping quotation and are ready to place your order,
you will likely want to telephone to place your order for credit
card security reasons: 905-607-3636.
• HAKA's
lead time naturally varies according to work load, but is approximately 8 weeks from order date to shipping/delivery/pick-up
date. We process orders as quickly as possible.
Tax basics
CANADIAN ORDERS:
• Orders originating in BC, NB, NL, NS and ON - add 13% HST
• Orders originating in the remaining provinces - add 5% GST
U.S. ORDERS:
• Orders originating in the U.S. and shipped to the U.S.: no Canadian tax added
