Would you like a shipping quotation from HAKA?
#1 - Contact HAKA for sewing furniture prices.
#2 - Next, determine which HAKA sewing furniture you
are interested in ordering.
#3 - Then, once you know the prices and have determined what you are interested in ordering, please contact HAKA for a shipping quotation. We will need to know which product(s) you are interested in ordering, as well
as the name of your city/town, province/state and your postal/zip
code (shipping costs are based on a combination of size, weight,
destination and value).
#4 - We will obtain a shipping quotation from our transportation
company for you. We do our best to get back to you with your shipping quotation quickly - the same day, if possible. However, sometimes there may be an unavoidable delay when we have to wait to hear back from the transportation company.
HAKA Shipping basics
• You will receive your HAKA Sewing Furniture completely assembled - it's very "turnkey", there are not even any casters to attach.
• Local
orders are delivered by HAKA. You are also welcome to pick
up your sewing furniture when it is ready - for our location information and a map, click here: Contact HAKA.
• Long distance orders are shipped
in a wooden crate with a transportation company.
HAKA Ordering basics
• Once
you have your shipping quotation and are ready to place your order,
you will probably want to telephone to place your order (for credit
card security reasons): 905-607-3636.
•HAKA's
lead time is approximately 8 weeks from order date to shipping/delivery/pick-up
date.
Tax basics
Canadian orders:
• Ontario customers: add 5% GST and 8%PST
• New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Labrador and Nova Scotia customers: add
13% HST
• All other Canadian customers: add 5% GST
U.S. orders:
• Orders originating in the U.S. and shipped to the U.S.: no Canadian tax added
• Orders originating in the U.S. and picked up from Haka Sewing Furniture: add 8% Ontario Sales Tax and 6% GST (Federal Sales Tax) - click here for Canada Revenue Agency's information about possible GST/HST refunds for visitors to Canada
